Default GetRIMMeetingReq Failed for LongTermEntryId

Please Login to Remove!

I have been getting a lot of entries along these lines. I have found nothing helpful from the Blackberry support site. The users state that they have seen no ill effects due to this error. Is there a way to get rid of them or is it safe to ignore.

We are running Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 SP2 with Exchange 2003 SP2. We are running Blackberry Professional Server version 4.1.4.3

This means that the BES cannot sync that particular Calendar entry for that user. It's no big deal, it's not causing any issues. Just a message reporting it's failure to sync.

Thank you, I can accept that. Is it likely that the calendar items will synch up later? I have not tracked one particular entry to see if the long term entry ID ever reports synchronizing.

I doubt that the entry will even sync up. One option might be to clear the Calendar database from the BB, delete the Desktop[CICAL] service book and resend it. If the entry is older than 30 days then it should not sync up.

Or you could wipe the BB, remove the user, readd and reactivate. The Calendar only syncs 30 days in the past during activation.
