Default BES send Outage Notifactions for Exchange Server

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

I would like to know if there is a way to set up my BES so that it can either send a message to specific blackberry devices or forward on messages when our Exchange server is down? Specifically, I would like to send notifications that our Exchange server is down.

Thank you for any assistance,

Dorian

Use the BES Manager to send PIN messages to selected users.

BES>Server Properties>BES Alert

There you can feed in the details of where you want alerts sent to and also what kind of alerts you'd like to recieve!

Lets you feed in 3rd party smtp details so it can send emails independatly when your exchange server is down.
