I wonder if BES 5.0 for GW will have the same feature set as BES 5.0 for Exchange?

Welcome to the forums.

I would imagine it would have pretty similar features as previous releases have. However, I wouldn't expect it to be released around the same time. The GW release of BES has generally been ~6 months after the Exchange/Domino release.

You'll probably want to get confirmation on this, but I was on the horn with a RIM tech a couple of days ago and he stated that 5.0 was going to be platform independant. Perked my ears up since we have had to play the waiting game for updates with the rest of the GW crowd.

Blackberry universe lists 3 seperate downloads of BES 5.0 ,
one for each platform... different filenames and file sizes
