Default How to flush out pending items

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

I have a new BES 4.0 server (Nextel units) that has 200-some pending. I tried rebooting the server and stopping and starting the services, but they won't go. The SRP connection and SQL server connections are working as verified.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

the pending messages, are messages slated to be delivered to handhelds, but can't(there could be various reasons why. I.E.: bb is off, has no signal etc.)

as to flush them out, in BB manager on the BES, select the server on the left

find the user(s) who has the pending messages by selecting them and scan thru the text

on the left there is a tasks side bar, select service control and customization, then select purge pending messages

Hi murpheous,

I see where it lists each user and how many messages are backed up for them. For example, one user has 26 items backed up.

I can't seem to find the purge option though. Do I right-click on the user or find the tasks menu? Sorry, I'm a newbie to this thing!

Thanks again for any info!

Does the purge pending work for you?

If not, what version and platform are you running?
