Default Upgrading SQL

Please Login to Remove!

I'm going to upgrade our SQL Server from SQL2000 to SQL2005. Is there anything special I need to do in regards to the BES DB? Obviously I plan on backing it up first. Should I detach it also, then upgrade, then reattach?

Thanks.

After reading this, it seems this is more of installing a new SQL Server. I am merely upgrading my current 2000 to 2005. Are all these steps still needed?
