Default Trying to Deploy app using BES

Please Login to Remove!

I haven't ever tried to deploy apps using BES, but I have a need and am having problems getting it done.

We are trying to deploy an app that will generate Soft Tokens, we have been doing it successfully just using the Client, but now we need to deploy the app to users not at our physical location.

The two files I have are a .cod file and a .jad file...I have followed the instructions to create a "new Configuration", but it never "sees" the application..

What am I doing wrong?

OK, what release is your BES?

When you say "I have followed the instructions to create a "new Configuration"" what do you mean? i.e. you've shared the app folder on BES? Run the reindex command in apploader? etc.

I think those files are just for OTA installation, so the BB navigates to the jad file via bb browser, downloads and installs them.

You need to download the version which includes the alx and cod files which you can package and set for install on your BES

We are running 4.1.4.26

I just mean I've followed the manual on how to create a new configuration

I've shared the folder \\servernam\Research In Motion

and I've also done the loader.exe /create
