I have a problem with my BES server and one Exchange server. We have 4 Exchange 2003 servers in our domain. Recently had a mailbox store fail on Server1. We managed to restore this, and the other 2 mailbox stores on that server were not affected. However now all BES users who have their mailboxes on that server (not necessarily in the problem mailbox store) are having problems with the devices. Most have an intermittent service, with the device not working for a day, then receiving a load of mail, then not working again! Can't use EA on them, it just times out. No problems for the users on other 3 Exchange servers, and if I move a mailbox from Server1 on to another exchange server, I can use EA no problem, and receive mail.
We are still having major performance issues on Server1 (outlook 'requesting data' message is frequent) and I am wondering if it's just the poor performance of this server that's causing BES issues? Is it likely that once we solve the Exchange performance issue, my BES will start functioning normally, or could something have been messed up? (Have tried rebooting BES loads of times!)
