Question Event ID 20000 BlackBerry Policy Service

Please Login to Remove!

Hello again,

Been awhile since I posted here...

I'm getting pummled with Event ID 20000 from source BlackBerry Policy service on my BES 4.1.5.24:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: BlackBerry Policy Service
Event Category: None
Event ID: 20000
Date: 2/20/2009
Time: 1:01:35 PM
User: N/A
Computer: BES
Description:
SCS::CheckBESCompatibilityMode - Failed to parse the version stream "3.5".

These come in clumps every few minutes. I've searched around the site but haven't run across anything matching what I see. I tried RIMs supoprt site but came up empty there as well. So, I do what every smart BES admin does and threw it up here in hopes one of you have seen this one.

Help is, as always, appreciated.

TIA
-J

Default Event ID 20000 BlackBerry Policy Service

Hi there,
I am running 4.1.6.20 (just recently upgraded to MR5 this past weekend). I am receiving the same event that you saw and was wondering if you had found an answer to this. I have not seen anything else posted for this event.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: BlackBerry Policy Service
Event Category: None
Event ID: 20000
Date: 11/05/2009
Time: 10:27:35 PM
User: N/A
Computer: BES
Description:
SCS::CheckBESCompatibilityMode - Failed to parse the version stream "".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
