I'd rather not have to call RIM and spend another $250 on a support call, given they walked me thourhg this several months ago and it turns out their instructions led me to my current issue.
Our current install of BES 4.1.x was done under the domain admin instead of BESAdmin. Most of you know the problems this creates. For us, since we're on Exchange 2007, many of our users don't receive meeting requests, etc. on their BBs. Everything I've found so far indicates it's because of who the MAPI profile is mapped to and how BES was re-installed.
I attempted to fix the MAPI Profile, by assigning the login to BESAdmin and changed the system startup options to the same user. But when I did that, the services wouldn't run. (I was warned that may not work anyway). When I reverted back to Admin, things were fine.
So, I need to remove BES and re-install it. I've already done the MDSE SQL backup. What else do I need and need to do? I have the License codes. Do I need the SRP #?
Would greatly appreciate a step-by-step how-to. Thanks!
