We deployed BES 4.1 on an Exchange 2007 hosted environment. For provisioning we use HMC 4.0 model with MPS-engine.

We followed the installation guide lines and in addition configured the Global Address List in Active Directory as described in this topic "HMC 4.0 Greenfield, Exchange 2007 and BES"

We can access the global address list now and see all users there. However when we open up the properties for any user, we can't read them. All property fields are empty, even the email addresses. So we cannot provision users since BES has no clue of the mailaddress.

Anyone encountered this situation or any ideas ? Feedback is greatly appreciated!

It seemed this was caused by limited access on the Active Directory OU structure.
