Default bbdir.nsf

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all

Prior to upgrading our BES to 4.1.6, I was wanting to do some cleanup. I noticed a number of duplicate entries for some users and was browsing through this forum to see if it was safe to remove the older entries. I noticed a couple of comments that have left me a little confused so I figured I'd ask the Blackberry gods.

What has me confused is the statement that says something along the lines of "bbdir.nsf is no longer used from 4.0. After upgrade, delete this database". We are currently running 4.1.5 and I'm relatively new to BES. Our previous admin upgraded to 4.x. However, bbdir.nsf is still alive and still being populated with new user info. How can this be if 4.0 upwards no longer uses bbdir.nsf?

Thanks in advance.... Pete (aka Confused of Calgary)
