Old device still sending Blackberry Messenger usage emails Hi guys, been pulling out my hair with this issue. We have given away an old berry to one of our collegue's wife but still receiving blackberry messenger usage reports from that device. - It has been wiped and not part of the BES. - She uses her own personal SIM and account - She uses BIS with her hotmail/gmail account I cannot seem to find where i can stop this device on my BES server. I have checked the account of the old user but he definately has the new device tied to his BES account. I am guessing its tied in to the PIN or some kind of service book that doesn't delete even when you wipe the device. Am I missing something?? If someone can help I thank you all in advance. Cheers, N |
Maybe its a part of BIS that was setup? |
mmmm - how? I don't think so because BIS was already setup and working on another blackberry she originally bought with the SIM. |
Most things are done by PIN and not the SIM. |
i know that....i meant when she took out the original contact, it included her current SIM card and original blackberry. And thats when the BIS accounts were setup initially, totally seperate from the company or any BES server. |
is the device connecting to BES still or sending email to your mail server and BES picks it up? |
As I said originally right now she only used BIS. The handheld was wiped completely before it was given to her. Yet somehow it still sends Blackberry Messenger usage emails to the BES server it 'was' activated on originally(our BES server). |
