Default Hotfix 2 for BES for Groupwise

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, The instructions on the blackberry support website say to install SP2 and hotfix 2 as the one update. I have installed SP2, but I cannot install hotfix 2. It gets half way through the installation, and then askes for the location of the "Blackberry Enterprise Server.msi" file. I have copied this file from the CD to the Hard Drive of the server and I get the error "The Blackberry Enterprise Server.msi is the incorrect package for the Blackberry Enterprise Server.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Mail is still getting routed to the handheld's, but all the messages are staying as unread, even when deleted.

Thanks
Steery

I believe SP2 is cumulative, including all previous hotfixes.

I would check your settings in the BES manager to make sure redirection is working correctly. Check the logs to make sure nothing abnormal is coming up either.

Default Fix

I had the same problem. The msi you need is part of the SP2 install - it looks for the last msi used. Unzip SP2 into a folder and point the hotfix install to it.
