About a year ago we installed BES Express on our FE Exchange server not really knowing what we were getting into. Now we have branched into a few more users using BES. We recently upgraded to Exchange 2k7 serving as both the FE and BE server. We were able to make the transition very smoothly. Now we want to remove the FE Exchange feature off of the BES server. However we can't because it looks like BES is tied to the Information Store Service. Can we still remove Exchange and have BES still functioning?

How many users?

If only a few just rebuild the box from scratch or knife edge to new hardware temporarilly and rebuild the old box.

If still on SBE a p4 1000 will run it with 1.5 gig ram.

Thats what I thought. I am in the process of building a new server now.
