Default MMC Snap-in Error

Please Login to Remove!

I am running MS 2003 Server 64bit; MS exchange 2007; Legacy BlackBerry Manager MMC Snap-in which when it loads defaults to the sql login

The authentication does not accept the sa password, then defaults to reports MMC has detected an error in a snap-in.

Normal authentication works to access the blackberry database on sql server, including sa; so the problem appears to be with the Legacy Snap-in

Any Ideas

Maybe it's trying to do domain auth? When logging in, try this as the username

<sql server name>\sa

Not exactly the same issue but it may be relevant.

Is there a VPN client on the PC running the manager which disables connection ports? I know that on my laptop, even when it's on the office LAN, i need to disable the VPN policy to enable me to connect to the SQL server on the BES. If i don't the Manager opens up with "Unknown Authority" and is blank.
BES, 4.1.7, was SBE now full BES
