Tweaking MDS?
 

Here is the situation:
I have some vital signs monitors that are sending alert information to BES through a middleware server.
I have experienced occasional issues with significant delays in delivery of the alerts to the Blackberry. The middleware server gets all alerts immediately. I believe the delay is between MDS and the Blackberry.
Unfortunately this little project has been my first encounter with MDS, so I don't really know anything about it.
Are there any settings that I can tweak that might improve the delivery delay from MDS to the device?
Oh, I should also note that the Blackberrys are WiFi only, so the internet and Blackberry network are not a factor.
