Default SRP connection disconnected???

A lot of Blackberry devices stopped getting messages since Saturday. After looking at event viewers, we saw that

[SRP] Dispatcher\SRP Connection dropped, Error=0

on 3/7/2009 1:30PM


[SRP] Connection failed

on 1:30:01 PM

Stopping BlackBerry Mailbox Agent 200 for Server <servername>

on 1:30:02 PM

BlackBerry Messaging Agent <servername> Agent 2 failed to start. Error code 0

on 1:31:33 PM

'<servername>' agent 2: will not restart - reached the maximum of 10 restarts per 24 hours

on 1:45:59 PM


I came in this morning and restarted all services. BES looks like it's scanning the mailboxes, but the BB device has not received any new messages yet. I guess I need to wait longer?

Restarting Controller and Dispatcher should do it and failling that, BES restart. As you did that already I would guess you are just playing catchup but what is the BES telling you in logs or user status?
