Default Lookup and international dialing..

Please Login to Remove!

Hi has anyone come across the following:

open address book on the Blackberry
perform a lookup for a user with an international format number
eg. +44 (0) 123 4567890
press the track ball in on the number to make the call
the BB realises that it is an international number and removes the (0)

Do exactly the same but press the green call button instead of the track ball to make the call and it dials the complete number including the (0)

If the contact is already on the BBerry and not pulled from BES/Exchange then it realises and removes the (0)

Can anyone confirm this please..

IIRC that's the reason we removed the leading 0 from our AD records. We don't have the 0, so can dial any GAL number any way from a BB, regardless of location.
I was a BES and Exchange admin once.
Then my world turned Blue.
