Unable to restore parts of BB backup
I have a new employee starting and he's bringing his BB from his old company. I've backed up his BB and wiped it. Put it on our BES. Now I want to restore his contacts to it, but the restore option isn't available for his contacts. As a matter of fact, it's not available for a number of items in the backup. Is there a way to get his contacts restored??

When it's activated on the BES, it sets Calendar, Address Book, etc. as wireless sync. When it's set to wireless sync, it will not allow it to update those databases via DM.
You could go into options of each of those applications and set wireless sync as no and it will allow you to restore.

Remember to turn wireless sync back on, or none of those items will sync bidirectionally.
