Default MDS and IBS browser settings

I tried crackberry and no one answered, hopefully someone here can help.
I have noticed that all our users get routed through our BES server for internet access (this includes them being on wifi). Now I have followed some instructions to modify the IT Policy to show a MDS Browser, a WAP browser, and regular Browser. I have tested to see if the traffic is still being routed through all 3 and internal sites (not accessible from the outside) resolve. Does this mean the traffic is still being routed through my BES server? I believe yes, but if someone can shed some light on a better test or even a setting I might have missed please let me know.

The MDS browser routes via BES (somtimes it is also called "Blackberry Browser"). The WAP Browser routes via your carrier (sometimes, extra charges can apply). I don't know what you mean by "regular browser". How is it labelled exactly?

You can set a default browser, but on each favourite, you can override this.
