Hi,

I have a user with one of our BB's attached to our BES. He currently uses OWA to connect to someone else's exchange server so he can see email sent to him at that account. Is it possible to set up his BB to receive email from both accounts, so that he can skip the OWA? I guess he'll have an issue of where a reply will say it came from but I'll cross that brigde if and when I get to it. I believe the other company also has a BES but I'm not sure that matters for what we are trying to do.

Not possible to recieve from 2 accounts with BES.

You can use the BIS to connect to OWA, IMAP, POP/SMTP.

I didn't think my idea would work. Is there a link to a thread or document on how to us BIS to connect to OWA, etc, or would I configure it like I would if the user wanted access to his gmail/yahoo/hotmail, etc. account? I could just have him use OWA via the BB browser (if that is possible) but he wants to be notified of incoming mail. He could just forward the emails to his mailbox attached to our BES but then replies would appear to come from wrong account.

Ok, I don't know what I'm doing.

The user has a mailbox, lets call it . It is on the exchange server at smith.com. He want to receive those on his BB, which is attached to our BES. His mailbox here, attached to our BES is . His BB is an 8330 Curve.

I can't seem to find a thread or document for guidance. Please advise.

Try one with cradle activation and the other OTA,This will give both the options but this is not recommended hence not documented but it works.Another option is go BIS for the othe raccount.

Ok, I got it all set up. I actually called Telus BB Data support and using the Telus BIS site they created an account and associated the users OWA email from the other company. The emails from the other company now show on his BB, as well as emails from our exchange server / BES.
