Angry Upgrade Caused Problems

I have one server with Server 2K3 Enterprise with SP1 and E2K3 with SP2 and the other server with Server 2K3 Standard R2 with SP2 and BES 4.1.6 MR3 and SU2 and E2K3 Management Tools with SP2. The versions of cdo.dll and mapi32.dll are the same on both servers. Also use Outlook 2007 on the domain.

I upgraded from BES 4.1.2 to 4.1.6 MR3 and SU2 a couple fo weeks ago and when I did the sync between Outlook and HandHeld for Contacts, Tasks, and Notes broke and address lookups failed. The sync between Outlook and HandHeld for Calendar and emails works. I did the LDAP looup fix for the address lookups so they work.

I contacted BB Support and with the exception of one or two suggestions have gotten no support. I did get a temp srpid and cal from BB and setup a test server with same versions and got the same results. Did a reload of the test server with 4.1.2 and did upgrades up to 4.1.4 with no problems but when I did the 4.1.5 upgrade it broke the same things. Tried a different OS Server 2K3 Standard with SP1 in case R2 was the culprit but no luck.

I have 24 users on the production BES server and they have not noticed the problems yet but can't count on that for ever. Have been pulling my hair out looking and searching with no luck.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
