Default Deleted and tried to re-add a user, but got pending message?

Please Login to Remove!

I deleted a user on BES and tried to re-add it, and I keep on getting that pending delete message. I'm using a remote SQL. What causes this?

It's possible you aren't waiting long enough for the old record to delete. It should show in the pending tab for several minutes. Once gone, you should be good.

How long does it stay at pending delete?
Does it only stall when you select "remove mbx info"?

It took over an hour until BES allowed me to re-add the user. Where is "remove mbx info?"

Thanks

When you delete a user from BES you get asked if you want to remove BlackBerry info from the mail system also. That removes the hidden stuff from the user's mailbox.

I have had some take over an hour but I couldn't determine if it was network load (to Exchange) or BES db corruption (had a bit of that but fixed now). If I have any more slow deletions and remember, I will post the info as i should be able to say for sure that they are down to network load/connectivity rather than db issues. For me, anything around an hour is acceptable on my system, as my AD replication can take around an hour anyway.

I see. I will continue to monitor the BES and open a case with RIM if anything comes up. By the way, how did you fix the db corruption?

On the BES, as besadmin, opened the server config app and changed db from what it is to what it still is . According to support this re-syncs the db but it's the first time I have heard of that one. Either way corruption and errors dissapeared.
