Default SRP Connect/Disconnect every 15 seconds?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, we're having a problem where our BES is connecting and disconnecting from the SRP every 15 seconds or so. The network connectivity test seem to check out fine consistently and there do not seem to be any issues regarding authentictation to the SRP server. The following logs simply repeat all day long.

Our users are reporting a 'red X' intermittently while trying to send email. I'm thinking this must be the cause, but can't figure out why it's happening?

Any ideas are very appreciated:

The fact I'm seeing the loopback address (127.0.0.1) might point to back a bad NIC.

If you have dual NIC cards in the server I'd recommend using the second one or turn off any load balancing/primary NIC.

I'd be looking at the network connection.. but I'm more of a network guy.

hello,

I had the same issue one week ago after my srp key was locked.

Rim re-activate my SRP key but, after that, the srp status disconnected every 15s like your problem.

I finally ask a new srp KEY and ID from RIM and it worked.

PS : sorry for my english

Had exactly the same thing last year and no-one could get to the bottom of it. It was on my test BES though so after 3 days I just flattened and rebuilt it which removed the problem.

Thanks kidkoala!!

That fixed the problem. Apparently requesting a new SRP key/id solved it. Thanks everyone for your help!
