Default determining who has a Media Card

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how to find out who has a Media Card present in their BlackBerry device? I checked BBManager and BRK but nothing jumped out at me... In short, we are trying to determine the effect of switching on External File Encryption.

Great question. I don't know the answer, but now I am also curious about this.

Default Not possible

I actually asked RIM about this awhile ago. This is not something captured yet.

Considering the pending regulation about encryption in MA, NV etc this is becoming more and more a requirement so we can validate. Something like this would be great to query:

Media card present - Yes / No
Media card size - X
Media card encrypted - shows policy setting
Encryption applied - Yes / No

That would be fantastic.

All this being said I applied media card encryption last fall to the main policy and if you have an questions let me know. The biggest thing to know is it's from the point forward so any exsisting files are not encrypted.
