Default Upgrading Domino (6.5 to 8.5) Running BES 4.1.3

Please Login to Remove!

Just looking for any Gotchas when upgrading our Domino Server. What settings will I need to change on the BES after upgrading Domino? We are doing a hardware upgrade for the Domino server at the same time so obviously I will need to change anyplace that is calling for the current name or IP. Is there anyplace the server name or IP would be that isn't obvious?

Thanks

Prior to upgrade ensure all Blackberry services are set to Manual (as well as Domino). (Should go without saying backup the program and data directories)

Upgrade Domino
Ensure Both Domino Services are Set to Manual (8.5 has a service for NSD).

Do all your testing (IE Domino Starts)

If you are doing an over the top upgrade at the end just add "BES" to the end of the ServerTasks line in notes.ini

If you are deleting stuff (as we do for a cleaner upgrade) ensure you copy back BlackBerryServerSNMPAgent.dll, image.dll, NBES.exe, yk.dll under the program directory (IE "Domino" or "Notes")

Switch services back to Automatic

You should upgrade to BES 4.1.6 for Domino 8.X support. You can do this before or after Domino or at seperate times.
