Hi to everybody, I am an Italian girl looking for help as it regards the istallation of the bes on a server exchange 2003. I explain you my installed problem: I had the bes creating the consumer besadmin and i do all the necessary permissions, the server of exchange it communicates with the bes menager because I succeed in sending messages to the consumers, the my problem concerns the addition and the removal of the consumers.I make sense of better me when I remove a consumer it doesn't allow me to insert him/it again. When I try there it appears me the following messaggio:User xxxx is in delete pending on server xxxx, please recover the user before adding user to server. Is the consumer in this situation from more than 2 hours and the thing m you/he/she worries, does someone know how to resolve the problem???? The second problem is the key refresh, oghi it turns that I press him/it the started state it passes to stopped, the thing I don't know if it is normal. Thanks to all for the help and a kiss to the Italian

Yeah as Kid says, the problem here is that you can't add the user again as they are still in a "delete pending" stage. Look at the Users Pending Delete tab in BM and you will see them.

Search more on BBF and you will find a thread about the wait time for pending. I sometimes have it taking >1 hour but that is usually down to network load and database performance. I would say you should check/do the following -

1. check your (BES and windows) logs for DB errors, maybe the db is struggling to delete the users quickly due to a permission error or something else
2. if you don't need to, don't remove the "mail system info" when you remove the user, as then you are just waiting for a db remove only. TBH if you are going to add them straight backm you would probably not want to remove the mailbox info anyway
3. if you do the above and still have issues, you can right click the pending user and purge them. Not nice but it will work, but you should allow some time between the purge and adding them back or things get confused and BB wipes will be required (I get into this mess occaisionally as I am impatient!).
