Default Address Book Sync - Groupwise

Please Login to Remove!

Hi There!

I have about 8 clients running BES with Groupwise. Everything is working bar the Address Book Sync. Changes made in GW aren't being handed out to the handhelds. I run a variety of different versions between 4.1.4 and 4.1.6 and usually I configure in OAP 6.5 Mode.

The inital sync works.

How can I go about troubleshooting this issue?

Are the changes on the hand held showing up in GW? Also, do these users have wireless sync enabled on their devices?

Address Book > Options > Wireless Sync = ???

Hi There!

I'll confirm shortly if the changes are broken in both directions. Where can I find the settings for the address book options? Under User > properties > PIM Sync > Sync enabled =yes, Enabled on Device = YEs, Sync Type = Bi, Conflict Res = Server

Let's see if it's bidirectional. Also, how long are they waiting before it shows on their device. OAPI mode is not instant.

The changes never get made.

I had a user with this issue one time. I had them turn their address book's wireless sync off and then back on. It seems to resolve the issue.

Toggling the sync for address book on and off and restarting the BB Services APPEARS to have resolved the issue.
