Default temp device

Please Login to Remove!

i'm new to blackberry enterprise server.
One of my user needs to use another device for one week.
(another than is own). he needs to change device, because
he's on a trip to europe and needs GSM type Blackberry.
Re-using his CDMA type Blackberry back home.

What are the steps i need to do in Blackberry Manager application ?

Is it ok to activate the temp one with 'set activation password'
on his account and later and re-activate the 'regular' CDMA
blackberry with 'set activation password' again when he's back home ?

I need some help,

That will work. Most of my users are CDMA users and travel out of the states as well. If they do not have the Storm or 8830, I have to set them up with another device for this. I do just as you described. I activate the new device for him to take overseas, and upon return, I activate the previous device.
