Default Bes Rebuild

Please Login to Remove!

I have to rebuild my BES server as we roll over all our hardware every three years. I am going to virtualise BES but do not wont a big outage while I rebuild server. is it possible to build a NEW BES and run it at same time as old BES and then move users over to new server and finally deleting the old BES. Can I use the BES serialisation twice for a short period?
Any suggestions gratefully received

You can buy a migration kit from RIM.

SRP will get locked if used twice.

I like a knife edge cutover, with a preprepped VM should take only about 30 min or less to do and it is free.

My notes on it.
Bored, so might as well do what I recomend so often, The Knife Edge Cutover
