Default BES Default Gateway Change

Please Login to Remove!

I want to migrate our BES Server to a new Default Gateway, but when I change it within network connections, all send/receive stops and I cannot contact srp...

What else is tied to the default gateway of the BES? I have tried a reboot and/or a restart of Blackberry services.

How long should I expect to wait for this to come up if it is automatic?

Thanks,

This sounds less of a BES issue and more of a network issue. Some net admins block port 3101 outbound.

Default Solved:

This was a network issue after all. Our network admin assured me that all outbound ports were open on the new gateway. This was NOT the case. Once he opened the port, the gateway change was seamless.

BES services did not need to be stopped, the change happened on-the-fly.

True, I can only yell at myself when things go wrong.

Doesn't really stop the yelling here, but then I have anger displacement issues

I came from a small shop to this one and it is hard to relinquish control on things. Overall, hopefully the voices in my head will stop sometime soon.
