Default Red Cross when sending email BES on SBS

Please Login to Remove!

I have BES runnnig on Windows Small Business server 2003, all has been working fine but now no blackberrys can send emails.

(AFFF4F29) -> {xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk} MAPIMailbox::Send(ppMAPIMessage) - SubmitMessage (0x80070005) failed

I think it is after a Windows security update. I have tried everything with mailbox permissions but don't seem to be able to fix the issue.

I am not an expert so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Paul

you can disable that particular update..

also, you might need to allow the berry software in the windows firewall.

firewall is int he control panel of any windows machine. after you get there, its pretty easy to figure out. post back if you get it to work.

Don't uninstall the updates. It sounds like you just caught up with the last 18 months of changes and a lot changed reagrding how MS implement AD security, which had a knock on effect on the BES. You will need to do some searching on here as there were a few changes but here's a start -
