Another questions from me!

Situation: We want to know when one of our BES servers "falls over". By that I mean that the services might be started but messages are not being transferred to handhelds (for whatever reason)(even when SRP is up)

Current Thoughts:
- I've tried using the blackberry monitoring service, but this doesn't quite cover this eventuality
- I've thought of using SNMP, this is my only current solution and it would involve writing a bit of code that sits looking at SNMP of failed/que messages and then working out an average (this is not ideal as we need to be able to roll this out across a fairly large enterprise fairly quickly)
