Default Finding Attribute in AD == HELP!

Please Login to Remove!

From what Ive read, when you do a lookup from your BB, it pulls the information from Active Directory. I've noticed that when you do this, there is a PIN field which shows the users PIN number. However, when you use Outlook and pull someone from the GAL, allow it to sync upi with the BB Address book, that field is not there.

So assuming what I've read is correct, and that info IS coming from AD, what is the name of the attribute in AD? I ask, becuase I have a web app that pulls AD attritbutes (like name. address, phone numbers, etc) and displays them for my users and I'd like to show the PIN as well.

Any help is appreciated.

It's not an AD attribute...verified by using LDP to view.

This Blackberry KB article "implies" that it's stored in the config database:

(KB 15689)
Address lookups only return a PIN when BlackBerry smartphones are associated with BlackBerry® Enterprise Server instances that share a BlackBerry Configuration Database.

This is by design.

Yeah, your web app will have to pull from the dbo_UserConfig table. Link it via the Display Name and you're set.
