Do a search on here my friend. There are many threads and somewhere there is a VB app which someone packaged a script into and I use that. It parses the logfiles using the search cireteria you provide, so you get a single screen view of every time the search term appears in any log on the given day.

That'll be my VB app. Glad to be able to help the more experienced Admins. Can't find the thread for the moment though

Oh cool I couldn't remember who I got it from . Yeah it's top mate, I use it every day. I can attach it to this thread if the OP can't find it and you are ok with that.

Go ahead, I have no issues there. Slightly embarassing when you cant even find your own threads.

Is that the version that does one days logs or all the log folders? Not sure if I finished that version and posted it up.

LOL at least you looked mate . It's tiny so won't be an issue to post again. It's the one which does one day of logs.

OP enjoy, and don't even think of asking for support .

OK, just looked at my code and the multi day one is designed to only go through the MDAT logfile. I am guessing I was trying to analyse web access.

Work of moments to remove a few lines and recompile if anyone is interested. Be warned the resulting output text file may be a bit big.
