| Cannot Send Mail BPS Please Login to Remove! Hi All, i am having a problem with one of my blackberry's today.
We have Blackberry professional software, with about 6 users on it currently, all are working fine and have always been. Rim actually setup the BPS software so im pretty confident it was setup correctly etc.
We added a new blackberry onto the server yesterday. We activated yesterday, and she cannot send mail or reply. She seems to be working perfectly with all other aspects of the bes server, meaning contacts/calendar items are syncing both ways fine, email is coming in almost quicker than outlook recieves it, all seems fine..
We have a exchange 2003 server, she is running verizon blackberry internet mail for her personal aol account. When we change the "send" to the aol, it works fine, meaning the phone can send from aol internet mail no problem. I have joined her almost 3 times now on the enterprise activation and all activations say they are successful
Any suggestions would be very helpful, i am pretty good with blackberrys and bes and setting them up, but still learning all the tips and tricks to troubleshoot, ive just never had this before. | | Offline

| This same scenario happened with one of our users, but it was resolved when we deleted the service books on the BB, then did the Enterprise Activation again. | | Offline

Are they getting a Red X next to the message when they try to send?
Look in the MAGT logs on the server to see if you can get more detail.

This looks like a SendAs problem.

| ok well that article did help me, but it was the strangest thing here..
So before i did anything, i restarted the blackberry router service, it stopped fine.
when i went to start it, it comes up with a error saying unknown login... Now i KNOW 150% this server password has never been changed in years nor has the bes login account. plus the server has had multiple reboots and such with no problem over the years.
i re-entered the service credential pasword under the service, started it, and it immiedietly worked?!
Thank you for the help penguin! i appreciate it | | Offline

If the router service was hung, then this problem should have affected all users, not just this one user.
Maybe they had the problem too, and just didn't realize it.
Either way... glad it's working for you. | | Offline
