Default Email read status not updating on Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

We now have a number of users, who when they read a email in Lotus Notes
(5.0.12) the same message on their blackberry is still shownas unread. If they read the email on the blackberry it correctly updates the email status and shows that the email has been read in their Lotus Notes in-box.

We have approximatley 50 blackberry users and this problem is only affecting about 5 of them.

We are using a 4.0.4.3 BES.

We've tried re-sending the service books, deleting the users and devices and re-activating them. But none of these seem to have worked!

Wow, well I have to say - I am not sure that unread mark reconciliation (wirelessly) is even supported on your versions.

4.0 BES is pretty old now, and 5.0 notes is VERY old. Are the Domino Servers R5 too?

I will have a search for definitive information about whether unread marks are supported in your versions, but for now please read this
