Default BES 5.0 - Dedicated Server?

Please Login to Remove!

Does BES 5.0 require a separate server from Exchange 2003?

I seem to have read this as being the case.

I know it is not recommended but currently my Exchange and BES are on the same server - and I have been running with this config without any problems - but just wanted to check if with 5.0 it is a requirement that they be on separate servers or a recommendation?

Thanks!

As with BES 4.1 it is advised to put the BES on a seperate server from your Exchange server.

Even just whacking it on a VM server should be fine.
