Default Possible Database corruption/issues

I have a BES 4.1 syste, running on top of MSDE in a W2k3 VM.

Every so oftern the system will just stop sendnig mails and will require a service restart or more oftern a Full reboot to cure the problem.

during my investigatiosn today I ran BBCHECK which kept faulting and crashing out. Ive just been through every category in the list and it seems it dies when checking the database.

Thsi leads me to think my DB has a problem.

I cant figure out how to check though - is there a BB tool for checknig BB consistency that isnt BBCHECK??

and no before anyone asks the database isnt being backed up. Dont ya just love finding out AFTER the problem

any thoughts from anyone gratefully received.

IF on Tsupport get BES 5.0 and run a second domain and use transporter to move the users.

Or if you only have a few users re EA all of them on a newly rebuilt machine.

Also start looking at a DB backup solution.
