Default Sync Only Emails?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

Is it possible to configure BES to only sync email messages for a particular user and not calendar etc.?

If so can this be done on the BES Server??

Thanks

Yes, you can disable Wireless Sync on Calendar, Address Book, Tasks and Notes. You can do it via the BES and/or the device.

Hi
thanks for your reply. I can't seem to find where to disable these in BB Manager. I only have options for the following:

Address Book
Tasks
Memos
Message Filters
Message Settings
Cert Summary Data

Those settings are in user properties and PIM Sync. Can you point me in the right direction.............

Thanks

That's where you want to be for those. The first line under each of those categories should be Synchronization enabled. Set those to false.

It may be easier to create a new IT Policy and disable PIM sync that way. It is under the PIM Synchronization Policy Group. Once created, push the Policy to the user.
