Default BPS added CALS new users no wireless sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have searched on this and followed through the methods described on other threads but to no avail.

I have installed 4.1 BPS on my Exchange server and configured the 1CAL user and he works fine.
I installed an additional 5CALs and then added the additional 4 users but they only sysnc when connected to the desktop manager.
I have checked all the permissions the server is 2003SBS r2 sp2 fully patched and error free.
But can I get the new users to sync wirelessly? No!

Being new to BPS I have looked in the logs but after the initial usb sysnc no data is syncronised.

I have restarted the router service.
I have checked that all the connections are up and running and all keys are valid.
I can see messages pending but for all the additonal users it never syncs.

I am now scratching my head and any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the 4 other devices aren't provisioned for the enterprise service.

best give the mobile operator a should and confirm they set up for enterprise not BIS.

Thanks for your reply I will do this and post back.
Interestingly they were all supplied at exactly the same time and are the same model but you never know.

T-mobile have confirmed that the handsets are all provisioned for the enterprise service.
So i am looking to the BPS again. Any other sugestions?
I have checked the policies and indivdual users setting comparing them with the working user and they all are the same. The only difference is the licence they are on. The working being on the supplied CAL and the rest on the additional 5 CAL add-on.
I would have thought that if the 5 CAL code was incorrect it would not have allowed the users to be added?
I did check they had supplied the correct one though.

Can you activate one of the new users using the SIM, from the currently known working one?

If yes then it's back to T-Mobile.

Thanks for the help - once the evidence was placed at T-mobiles feet they correctly configured the users sim cards and presto the users are now getting thier mail and the BPS is up and running.
Would have taken me days without your pointers.
