Default Restore E-mail Question

Please Login to Remove!

Using the Blackberry Desktop Manager, client has a current back-up (*.ipd) and wants to restore e-mail connectivity. What databases do I transfer (USB) to get his e-mail back up and running with the server?

To be clean. Restoring the Messages database from the backup file will only restore the messages from the backup file. It does not restore connectivity to BES.

can you restore connectivity (not the messages) to the BES through the Blackberry Desktop Manager? If so what database restores the ability to push?

Depends on your environment. Is DM properly configured for BES connectivity?

None of them. Doesn't work that way.
If DM is configured for BES connectivity then BES will do all the work itself and kick off an EA for the handheld.
