Just installed BES and added 4 users.

Firstly had a problem activating to BES over the wireless network, but solved this by making a usb connection into the server from each phone.

All 4 blackberry 8890's can receive e-mail but only 1 can send. The other 3 just display the sent message with a red cross icon!

All users have the same rights, in fact all 4 phones are set up exactly the same way.

I don't think I am missing anything obvious as 1 phone works perfectly! Where should I be looking.

Firstly what platform and version of BES are you running?

Try re-sending the Service Books.

Open one of those messages with the red X and read the header. That should point you in the right direction. Also, you might want to reveiw the KB regarding "send as" permissions.

We use BES 4.1 running on Windows SBS 2003 SP2.

I have tried resending the service books. Still can only receive not send e-mails.

Although I can receive but not send e-mails from the blackeberry, it will send receipt of opening the e-mail.
