Default one way calendar sync - 06-02-2009, 07:23 AM

I know this subject has been covered many times, but I'm struggling to get a fix.
I've got 3x 8900 curves that have stopped syncing with outlook when you put a calendar item on the handheld. I know it has to be a permissions things somewhere, but I dont know how/where anything has changed.
a bit from the bb log
CDOCalendar::Initialize - Code = 80040705, WCode = 0505, Code meaning = IDispatch error #1285,
[30002] (06/02 13:06:59.937):{0x1D70} Server = topb-server, Mailbox = /o=TOPB/ou=first administrative group/cn=Recipients/cn=nick Description = You do not have permission to log on. [Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store - [MAPI_E_FAILONEPROVIDER(8004011D)]]

Currently running bes 4.1.6.16 DM 4.7 OS 4.6.1.199 Office 2007 windows server 2003, exchange 2003 sp2

I've tried wiping the handhelds, done a backup/restore, reinstalled bes on the server, reinstalled dm on the laptops, updated the os to current 4.6.1.199 on the handhelds, the cdo.dll is 6.5.7638.2 and is in exchange\bin and windows\system32, from what I can tell besadmin has all the permissions to read/send etc

I'm stuck, and could do with someones fresh eyes/help

One Way Calendar Sync

Is the user "nick" a member of any Protected Groups? ... check KB12309 - Administration accounts in protected Microsoft Windows Active Directory groups too ...

Finally sorted it.
Thanks for your help.
I followed a few different helps threads, which unlocked a hidden issue about the mapi profile pointing to the wrong place.

An exellent step by step guide for permissions etc to follow is:
KB04293 - How to switch BlackBerry Enterprise Server service accounts

Then the mapi issue it brought out:
KB00075 - Service failed to start, generating error 5302
