Default Problem with BES 2.2 for Domino - 11-16-2005, 12:49 PM

Hi there,

Having a problem with a user who just received a new Blackberry model 7250. This is not a new user, just new to Blackberry.

We are using BES 2.2 for Lotus Domino the user was added to the BES without problems. The tech did their thing and set up the user on their end but it's not working at all. They are unable to send or receive anything.

In our investigation, we noticed the following event in the application log:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: BlackBerry
Event Category: None
Event ID: 20061
Date: 11/16/2005
Time: 10:10:11 AM
User: N/A
Computer: *****
Description:
Unable to get the state DB name for user ******* (Note item not found 0x0222)

We tried removing and re-adding the user to the BES but that did not work. It did detect the PIN correctly and shows when the key was created, but that's the only stat that it will show on the BES. We even removed it from the BES and allowed it to go through it's normal State DB Pruning process overnight, but no go.

Have been looking around for any information on the issue but haven't been able to find anything. If anyone has seen this problem before, or can offer any assistance that would be great. One furthur note, this is running on Windows 2000 SP4.

It sounds like the old profile document is still there. Delet the user.
Go to the ProfileDB and delet the user manually ignore any warnings.
Readd the user this time you should'nt get any error messages.
