Default How do I silently push Google Maps? - 06-04-2009, 11:13 PM

Hi,
I've set up my BES 4.1.6 server to push Google Maps out to handsets - this works, but the user gets prompted for if they want to allow access, then changing the security settings.

I've set everything in the policy for this app to Allow - what settings are required for a completely silent push?

Does this happen on all models / os versions of handhelds? I've seen this with particular version of 4.5 HH OS.

When pushing the app you should be able to set the app control policy to allow this.

Happens for all devices. Sorry I went for so long :P

I've set everything possible to Allow under the application.

Once it's on the device, it will say 'Would you like to grant Google Maps trusted application status?'

If I set everything to allow on the policy, why would it ask me that?

Edit: Google Mobile is worse, makes you go through and choose the allow options, even though they're already set to allow!

You should be able to push down and have the settings in place. What OS versions do the devices have?
