Default Unable to reply or send emails - 06-05-2009, 12:58 PM

I set up our BES about 2 months ago (with a little help from my friends) and thought we were doing OK. I have 10 users that are working under the default policies. Problem just surfaced with my BB (an 8830) that I cannot send or reply to emails. After checking the threads I thought we would be able to find the problem...not.

I removed myself from the admin account, removed myself as a user from BES, wiped handheld, pulled battery and said a few choice words, but I'm still not able to reply or send emails. Any help would be appreciated before I call RIM.

What happens when you try to send a message? Does it give a red X. If so, open the message and list what it shows next to Status.

Off topic - Nice to see a local BES admin around. Lancaster's my old stomping grounds

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
When you take things for granted, the things you are granted, get taken.
Even a mosquito doesn't get a pat on the back until it starts to work.
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.

See the two KB articles I linked to above.
I can almost guarantee that your issue and resolution is contained within.
