I'm hoping someone here has run into this before because it's driving me nuts.

I have a Nextel 7520 connected to BES for Exchange. I have a password timeout period of 30 minutes, and no periodic challenge set. The problem that i'm having is that, for instance, I will be typing an e-mail and within 20-30s the sync arrow will start going back and forth and then the blackberry locks and asks for a password. After unlocking it I continue what i'm doing and roughly 2-3 minutes later it syncs and locks again, unlock it and 30s later it locks again.
Is there a setting i'm missing? Or does anyone have an idea of how to stop this?

I have noticed this issue. For some reason, the IT policy goes corrupt. Just create another policy group with same settings and move the users in that group. Hope it helps

Yes, we encoutered same issue a long time before. As Sahail mentioned it is mainly because the policy gets broken.
We searched a little bit and we found it has to do something with each different mobile operator settings inside BB. Because RIM is giving out part of source code for BB so that every mobile operator can make slight changes - it causes such a behavior.
Maybe set group policy not so strict about browsing with operator's application. When we removed this, it was working fine.
