I'm having problems with my BES running Blackberry Enterprise 3.6.5.8 in an Exchange 5.5 environment (5 Exchange 5.5 servers) with hung threads.
All remote exchange servers are receiving a <35ms ping time.
The hung threads appear around the same time everyday (peak load times) then disappear at night. The BES server is running 102 users.
I've been scouring the event logs and noticed the hung threads are due to a single user. The error code is below:
[30038] (11/17 12:40:57):{0xAC8} Thread: *** No Response *** Thread Id=0xE78, Handle=0xFF0, WaitCount=8, RELOAD_FOLDERS event for User:

The WaitCount has on occasion been as high as 30!
Also this strange error:

It turns out this user has a ton of subfolders within his exchange Inbox - The exact number is unknown but it's quite a sight. Is there a work around this issue or do I have to force him to archive some of these subfolders for the greater good. BTW, his mailbox is limited to 95mb with an avg 90mb size. Also the Exchange server the User is located is local to the BES (<1ms)
Blackberry technical support claims there might be corruption with his account and wanted me to remove him from the BES and run the "DBClean.exe" util on his laptop --- However --- TSupport tells me to do a lot of things in the past and has caused more trouble than good, so I'm extremely leary... Any thoughts, suggestions, welcome!
