Default New SIM card & phone number - what do I do on BES? Newbe. :)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I've inherited a BES 4.1.2.25 setup; Exchange 2003, only 10 BES users.
I'm new to BES and still trying to get to grips with it.

One user has been using his personal SIM card in his BB.
The business are about to purchase a new SIM with new number - it will go into the same handset and the user details will remain the same.

What do I have to do on the BES / handset to facilitate the switch?

Cheers!

Anthony.

It doesnt matter which SIM card you use.
The device is recongized by his internal PIN number (not SIM PIN ) .
So if you switch SIM card you dont have to do any action.
Its the same when going on holidays and buying a SIM card of the holiday land to not have high roaming coasts ....you dont have to change anything .
